“This week, I have been in quarantine/shelter-in-place for 2 full months now. How am I? Everyday is different. There are quiet days, productive days, busy days and introspective days. In where I think we all can agree on, no matter what, is that the experience is indescribable yet you can always feel a little mixed up. There are mornings into days where there is no dialogue and no buzz of cars on the streets but instead you can hear the birds at 6am outside your window and that ray of sunshine that hits the same spot on your floor everyday. This mix is a collection of what spending eight weeks inside your apartment with an uncertainty out in the world feels like. It’s feeling “I’m A Little Mixed Up” like Betty James’ tune in this mix. I’m hoping soon enough I can come back with a sequel track like her “I’m Not Mixed Up Anymore” tune as well. ”
Today, we feature a mix from one of our very own Chulitxs - the mix comes directly from their vinyl collection. Today’s mix comes directly from the Chulitas Tear Drop, the CVC Founder.
Claudia Saenz aka Tear Drop is an all vinyl DJ, record collector and founder/director of Chulita Vinyl Club.
